How We Identified a Lowara Mechanical Seal from Appearance and Measurements
When a pump arrives without a model number or part reference, identifying the correct mechanical seal can be challenging.
For motor rewinders, pump repairers and maintenance teams, this situation is not unusual. The original seal may be worn, damaged or already removed, leaving its physical characteristics and measurements as the main clues to finding the right replacement.
