FETF Grant 2026: How Farmers Can Claim Up to £75K for Farm Equipment

FETF Grant 2026

Improve Farm Productivity with Grant-Eligible Equipment Before the Application Deadline.

The 2026 application window for the Farming Equipment & Technology Fund (FETF) opens on 17th March 2026, with applications closing on 28 April 2026.

This government grant gives farmers in England the opportunity to install new equipment or upgrade existing systems to improve productivity, strengthen slurry management, and support better overall farm management.

If you're planning to invest in new equipment this year, the FETF Grant 2026 could help cover a significant portion of the cost.

How does the FETF grant work?

Farmers can apply for FETF funding to help purchase equipment that supports::

    » Improved farm productivity
    » Slurry management
    » Animal health and welfare

Full eligibility criteria and product lists are available on the government website. You can apply for multiple grants across the three categories, depending on the equipment you require.

If your application is successful, you may receive up to £25,000 per category, covering approximately 40–60% of the cost of the approved item.
