Grundfos Unilift KP submersible drainage pumps are highly efficient pumping solutions designed for transferring clean and grey water. As a leading submersible pump supplier, we can also supply a special artificial head valve with Grundfos Unilift KP submersible water pumps, which considerably reduces electric consumption and extends the life of the pump and its parts. The spring-loaded valve regulates the flow of the electrical submersible pump so that it operates at the point of maximum efficiency (see chart). This reduces electricity consumption by up to 50% and allows the motor to run much cooler.

Available with or without a float switch for automatic operation, these submersible drainage pumps are a perfect solution for many domestic, industrial, and agricultural applications. For any applications where the standard float design can’t be used due to insufficient space, we recommend the AV versions of Grundfos Unilift KP pumps. These versions have a compact tubular float switch and are designed only to be used with clean water and installed vertically.
