Hydromatic pumps can draw water from a storage tank or well up to 8 metres deep when fitted with an optional foot valve.
How it Works
When a valve or tap is opened the Controlpump detects the drop in pressure and starts the pump, which runs continuously until demand for water ceases. The Controlpump then runs the pump for a further 10 seconds until the maximum pressure of the pump is achieved. It then switches the pump off ready for the next demand for water.
If the water supply fails during operation, Controlpump shuts down to prevent damage to the pump. Once the water supply is restored, the pump is restarted by pressing the re-set button.
