The Coelbo Speedbox is as an advanced, energy saving, air cooled variable speed drive for use with most electric single stage and multistage pumps. This water pump inverter is ideal for applications including borehole/well extraction, sump emptying and general water transfer and boosting.

Details

The main benefit of the Speedbox is that it uses a built-in inverter to control the speed of the pump motor to actual rather than maximum requirements, maintaining a constant pressure in the system as demand on the water supply fluctuates. This also provides the user with considerable energy savings over pumps without a variable speed drive and greatly extends pump life due to reducing unnecessary mechanical stress.

Commonly used as an inverter for borehole pumps, centrifugal and submersible pumps in new or retrofit installations, the Speedbox water pump variable speed drive is wall mounted for convenience and easy to install. Its integrated intelligent software allows easy and intuitive configuration of this water pump inverter through a multi-function LCD screen with warning LED lights and start/stop push buttons.

In addition to the above, the Speedbox pump controller offers dry run protection with automatic restart to prevent damage caused to the pump under low water level conditions.
