How to know which size mechanical seal you require...
14mm - Pump was manufactured post 2012. The cooling fins on the motor will be a wave style (as per photo to the left). The motor code on the dataplate will start SM.
12mm - Pump was manufactured pre 2012. The cooling fins on the motor will run parallel. The motor code on the dataplate will start LM.
