Position: Internal Pumps Sales Engineer

Whisper Pumps are a market-leading specialist in Pumps and Water Equipment, and are looking for an Internal Pumps Sales Engineer to join their growing team.

In a fast-paced environment the role would be to provide technical sales and support for all sales activities for both the domestic and export markets and assisting with potential orders from an enquiry stage through to delivery and aftermarket support, whilst providing an excellent level of contact with the client. Hands on pump training will be provided for the successful candidate.

 

Internal Pump Sales Engineer:

• Sharing the incoming enquiries from the company email/telephone and existing customers with other Pump Sales Engineers
• Liaising with the current core company supplier network, then identifying the correct pump solution or spares
• Quoting the customer in an efficient and professional manner
• Managing the outstanding quotes and actively trying to convert

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in water pump sales / ideally in multiple pump types
• Recognised pump training (advantageous)
• experience in pump selecting or selection software – ability to read pump curves (advantageous)
• Ability to work to targets.
• Very good attention to detail

 

Due to the various types of pumps Whisper Pumps offer we utilise our supplier portfolio for training, this can either be at the supplier’s premises or onsite at Whisper Pumps.

Furthermore, advanced training will also be available.

Depending upon experience, the right candidate may have the opportunity to visit customer sites and help identify the right pump solution when required.

 

Hours of work: Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00

Holidays: 20 days plus Bank Holidays. Closed between Christmas and New Year.

Salary: £30,000+ per annum (dependant on experience)
