Challenge 1 - Flygt spare with minimal information.
The problem. Newark Electric Motors customer needed to source a Flygt mechanical seal. The only information provided was the physical seal and that it was used in dirty water pumping. The unusual size and material made matching tricky.
Our Solution:

» Found a suitable third party replacement

Challenge 2 - SPX Flow seal with repeated failures
The problem. Newark Electric Motors brought in a SPX Flow pump seal which was failing repeatedly. The problem lay with the wrong elastomers and wrong seal faces. Their customer had simply had enough.
